Overview
CareMeals is a two-sided marketplace built for NDIS participants, plan managers and support coordinators. We engineered the platform from zero — search, dietary matching, NDIS-compliant invoicing, provider onboarding — covering 11+ providers and 517+ meals at launch.
The Problem
NDIS participants spend hours phone-calling individual meal providers to check availability, dietary fit and plan compliance. There was no unified discovery surface, no way to compare providers by postcode, and no automated invoicing to support coordinators.
The Build
A purpose-built marketplace with provider onboarding, dietary tag taxonomy (low-FODMAP, halal, soft-food, allergen-aware), postcode catchment matching, and automated NDIS-compliant invoicing flow. Compliance baked in from schema upward.
The Outcome
Live with 11+ verified providers and 517+ meals at launch. NDIS-compliant. Free for participants, revenue-share with providers. Plan-manager dashboard reduces order-handling time by 70%.
